Sally stated that they were against the "On God" singer because of what she saw as his disdain for Ghanaian media figures.

However, by answering Shatta Wale, you (Stonebwoy) are now departing from the original purpose. You have no right to answer him. "I said," she said.

“The agenda was to take you to the Grammys, and as for him (Shatta Wale), his career is over. He is now a pensioner. Stonebwoy's tendency to address issues that may be disregarded was another issue that Sally brought up. Sally Mann’s comments follow Stonebwoy’s statement that a remix of his new Jejereje song with hiplife artist Skrewfaze would not be commercially beneficial for him.
