Prophet Ebenezer Yiadom, also known as Opambour, has issued a terrible warning about the approaching inauguration of President-elect John Dramani Mahama on January 7, 2025.

The founder of the Ebenezer Worship Center requested ardent prayers, claiming to have anticipated demonic warfare aimed at preventing Mahama and his running mate, Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, from taking power. During a live television broadcast on Thursday morning, Opambour shared a worrisome vision of "malevolent forces" conspiring to disrupt the inauguration. He urged Christians and Ghanaians to pray for God's protection over the President-elect and his entourage.

"President Mahama needs the prayers of all Ghanaians," Opambour stated. "What I witnessed was profoundly disturbing, and the forces opposing him are not common. "The nation must unite in prayer to secure his leadership and protect him from harm."

The prophet also asked Mahama to engage in spiritual discussions and earnest prayers as January 7 approached. He underlined the need for spiritual fortification during this vital time.

Mahama's return to the presidency after a strong victory in the 2024 elections, in which he received 56.55% of the vote, defeating incumbent Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, who received 41.61 percent. While many Ghanaians welcome his victory as a new opportunity for improvement, others are doubtful of his capacity to address the country's difficulties, such as economic recovery and unemployment. Opambour's words have aroused debate in the political and religious communities. While some see his warning as a sincere call to action, others see it as a ploy to attract attention or spark controversy.

As the inauguration approaches, the focus is on Mahama's leadership and ability to keep campaign pledges. His administration has promised to focus job creation, improve the healthcare system, and stabilize the economy.
