Paa Kwesi Schandorf, an award-winning media personality from Ghana, has asked the electoral commission to clarify the standards it will employ in choosing the 12 media outlets to report on the next general elections.

Only eight media outlets at the constituency level and twelve at the regional level will be permitted, according to a statement issued by the electoral commission. Per the EC's directive, if 16 media houses like Metro TV, Citi, GHOne, JoyNews, TV3, Asaase, Tv Africa, GTV, Peace FM, Radio Gold , XYZ, Graphic, Chronicles, UTV, Atinka and Adom FM go to the constituency collation center, the EC says only 8 will be allowed.
