"Davido Advises Black Americans Against Relocating to Africa, Saying It's Not Cool Back Home"

The well-known Nigerian Afrobeats artist David Adeleke, best known by his stage name Davido, has cautioned Black Americans about the increasing desire to relocate to Africa.

In an interview with "The Big Homies House" podcast, Davido voiced doubts about the trend, pointing to the continent's present problems, especially in Nigeria, where he is from.

When the host of the broadcast asked if Black Americans wanted to go back to their homeland, Davido said, "Leave America and go where?"

He emphasized the systemic problems and economic challenges facing African nations.

The singer continued, drawing on personal experience as someone who was born in Atlanta, Georgia, but was reared in Nigeria, saying, "It's not cool back home.The economy is currently in ruins.
