Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's former aide Rosemond Obeng has launched a scathing attack on her former boss's management style, calling him a weak leader unsuited to lead Ghana. In an interview with GHOne's State of Affairs, Obeng expressed grave doubts about Dr. Bawumia's capacity to handle the nation's problems.

Without holding back, Obeng questioned Dr. Bawumia's leadership abilities and pointed out what she called an inefficient method of problem-solving.

"Who is he when it comes to leadership?" she asked. "With his approach to solving issues and his inability to take charge when necessary, he cannot even correct a small group of people around him when they are misbehaving. How then can he lead the whole country?"

Obeng went on to say that if Dr. Bawumia were given the responsibility of leading Ghana's 32 million citizens, his alleged lack of leadership abilities would overwhelm him.

She firmly declared, "Ghana will not be safe under his leadership," and urged people to take this into account as the 2024 elections draw near.

In response to questions regarding her intentions, Obeng denied that her criticism was the result of unsolved difficulties or personal grievances. She clarified that she felt obligated to assist Ghanaians in making wise decisions, which is why she chose to speak up.

"I am not bitter; I am simply stating what I know to help Ghanaians make an informed decision," she explained.

Obeng also bemoaned the notion that Dr. Bawumia is capable of managing the affairs of the nation, stating that strong and decisive leadership is necessary for Ghana to overcome its present problems.

Responses to Obeng's remarks have been conflicted; some have praised her bravery in speaking up, while others have questioned the timing and purpose of her criticism. As the 2024 elections approach, Ghana's leadership debate is becoming more heated, and opinions like Obeng's are making the country's political environment more complicated.

As Ghanaians assess their options for the upcoming election, the discussion surrounding Dr. Bawumia's leadership style and talents is expected to continue to be a major topic of discussion due to this public criticism.
