The recent killing of men in uniform is as a result of the level of disdain the populace have for the government. Remember, criminals are also citizens.
A spill over of emotions, hatred and disaffection for the NPP government has led to the killing of security personnel generally perceived to be part or an extension of the party in power.
Ashaiman and other areas where these killings and attacks have taken place respectively are just hotbeds.
In the case of the Kasoa shooting, it's a reflection of the larger than life status NPP government appointees have assumed. From the president, ministers, right down to common drivers, they feel it's their moment and time and they have to relish it.
What a disaster?!

If a criminal like Mahama, who is noted for ford, airbus, sada, gida, Tamakloe Masloc and other serious crimes against the state is protected at the expense of the tax payer, then Adib, obviously ministers should as well be guarded. In any seriously jurisdiction like Malaysia, Mahama and his ndc executives would hv been thrown into jail and the keys tossed into the deep sea. He and that old lady who could not supply common challk are now apostles of anti corruption becos Ghanaians are deemed stupid by them. Hv you heard any ndc member talk about Sediam's loot? But Mahama will mount the podium and pontificate about corruption. Lord/Allah hv mercy upon us.

Easy to point accusing finger, who do you suggest? We must remember that if you domesticate a lion, one day it would attack you when is hungry. Our service men have brought this to themselves. All our service men are using their uniforms to take undue advantage of the very people they are paid to protect. Have we not of service men lendng their service guns to robbers for few cedis? Have we not heard of policemen or soldiers operating with armed robbers. I'll advise our service men and women to do what they are to do, else, karma would pay them a courtesy call.

Most of this land guards are parading themselves as chiefs and nothing is being done to them, which is sad. For the men in uniform they have themselves to blame, because they have used their uniform to intimidate people for long and stealing land from rightful owners. A typical example is in Teshie near the MATs football field, when LEKMA asked the Military to stop a building project the didn't. If men in uniform don't respect the laws and authorities of our land how do they expect the citizens to have faith and trust in them or respect their uniform. Military uniform are for the barracks and official duties, you get to Ghana Airport, our men in uniform use their uniforms to allow family members and friend to jump queues, they use it to alot of things which are not right.

Ghanaians are suffering because of the little minds and cowardice of our rulers. I wish there is no parliament. They make the laws alright but those who's duty is to work it show little fine brains and massive timidness. Otherwise how can you have a police force and yet criminals have a field day. Even soldiers are being shot at and police can't do anything. Not until we have brave leaders who can work our laws we must brace ourselves for a long suffering.

We don't hold office holders responsible for their actions and inactions. What have the interior ministers been doing since Kwaku Ninja and his friend time? Don't we have police commander in that m and District security Committee in the area? For what are these people paid? If I were the appointing authority, I will make sure rhatt persons in who are in position of trust and are mandated to carry out specific functions but slept on their jobs, arw prosecuted, fined and jailed for causing financial loss to the state - because they are taking salaries without a corresponding productivity.
Very few people discharge their responsibilities in accordance with their job specifications and the rest walk away with incompetence and curruption. We need to have a critical look at our governance, reward and sanction systems.
