You must probably have hibernating on Pluto not to have noticed what actually took place. We stood in long queues to buy just a cake of carbolic soap or a tin of milk, if you were even lucky to get any!

Hoardings were rampant, with items like Stamps and Air Letter Cards sold at very high prices at Makola instead of the Post Offices etc. That coup's impact immediately began right there inter alia, with all students countrywide so responsive they helped in evacuating farm products everywhere.

Rawlings was exactly three months and three Weeks at the head of AFRC when they handed over to Hilla Limann (From June 4, 1979 to September 24, 1979), with substantial amount retrieved from thieves and left to the oncoming government. That fleeting campaign was very successful and placed the country on a good pedestal and spiked the awareness of the youth.
