People are committing suicides due to these scams and this is giving Ghanaians and Nigerians bad names in Europe and America. Hajia4Real did the same scam and she has been prosecuted in the States.
There are young guys and women in Ghana showing off their wealth without doing any work to prove their source of income , yet the authorities do not investigate these people to find out their source of wealth. As long as the prison sentences handed to these scammers continue to be lenient, the scamming will continue to be business as usual. Also, merely jailing these scammers and requiring them to make restitution to their victims is nothing but a joke, for the scammers usually never repay their victims and the courts never go after them upon their release from prison.. The courts in the USA and elsewhere should impose harsher sentences on the scammers, and then use private detective agencies to trace the the tracks of scammed loot and seize those scammed funds an properties and businesses that might have been financed with those funds.
