Likewise, if you score after a mistake has been made the goal is automatically erased after VAR

But an irredeemable mistake is one where the whistle goes before a goal; there's nothing VAR could do about that cos the opponents can argue that, they relented because the whistle had gone {the only possible redemption is a plea t replay the entire match, which usually is a hard call}
