The 2024 presidential candidate of the Convention People's Party (CPP), Nana Akosua Frimponmaa Sarpong Kumankuma, has encouraged Ghanaians to reflect on the challenges and opportunities as the nation transitions into 2025.
In a New Year message on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, she extended New Year wishes to all citizens, expressing gratitude for the peaceful elections that deepened Ghana’s cherished democracy.
She encouraged the nation to reflect on both the challenges and opportunities ahead.
"My fellow Ghanaians, Happy New Year to all of you. As we begin 2025, let's congratulate ourselves for the peaceful elections and the opportunity we have given and offered ourselves to deepen the democracy that we so cherish.
"Again, let us reflect on the challenges and opportunities ahead of us," she noted.
Nana Akosua Frimpongmaa further envisioned a Ghana where no one is left behind, calling for unity and collaboration to build a nation where every citizen—whether in the field, the marketplace, or the boardroom—can succeed.
“We are one people with one destiny. When we come together, we can create a brighter future for ourselves and generations to come," she noted.
She urged citizens to approach the year with renewed hope, focusing on collective growth and development.
"This is the Ghana we must create, a Ghana where no one is truly left behind. This (2025) is the year to work hand in hand to build a better Ghana where every citizen can succeed, whether in the field, the boardroom, or the market.
"We are one people with one destiny, and when we come together, we can create a brighter future for ourselves and all generations to come. May 2025 bring peace, prosperity. Let us look forward with hope and determination," she added.
