The Ghanaian electorate should never fall for the lies and empty promises being made by the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Policy Advisor to the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Boakye Agarko, has said.

According to him, the Mahama-led government has failed to solve the “bread-and-butter” issues of citizen and was rather making promises which it cannot deliver in order to gain another term in government.

Mr Agyarko further stated that “a litany of broken promises littered the path to Sunyani” where the NDC launched its manifesto on Saturday, September 17.

He did not understand how the NDC made “very grandiose promises” while staying silent “on how their performance in the past is an indicator of how well they will do if elected”.

He indicated on Monday, September 19, at a press conference in Accra that “one can judge the future of a Mahama government on the basis of their poor performance” which he claimed was hinged on its “lies, excuses and broken promises”.

For him, the NDC did not deserve a second term and must be voted out for a more competent government that will solve the issues of citizens.
