The Electoral Commission of Ghana has announced the reopening of applications for the transfer of votes and proxy voting for security agencies at all of its district offices nationwide.
In a press statement signed by the Deputy Director for Research, Monitoring, and Evaluation, Mr. Fred Tetteh, the application exercise will take place from Wednesday, July 3rd to Friday, July 5th, 2024.
The commission will also extend the application for the transfer of votes to 25 public universities and prison facilities across the country.
Furthermore, the commission will reopen applications for special voting for media personnel and security agencies from Saturday, July 6th to Sunday, July 7th.
"This is to inform the general public that the Electoral Commission will reopen applications for the transfer of votes and proxy voting across the country for security agencies at all of its district offices," parts of the statement read.
