The Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, on Saturday, August 24, 2024, delivered an address outlining his vision for Ghana if he is elected president after the 2024 elections.
He touched on how he will fix the broken economy, lower inflation and reduce the high unemployment rate in the country.
He said his government will prioritize projects that will bring significant growth to the country.
Mahama's speech was under the theme "Ghana’s Next Chapter: Selfless Leadership and Bold Solutions for the Future."
Among other key promises, he said he is committed to limiting the number of ministers, cancel double-track system and improve free SHS and scrap some nuisance taxes in his first 100 days in government.
