Ghanaian drivers are the best opinion leaders

The Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur has stated that drivers of commercial vehicles are the best opinion leaders in the country, hence they are the best judges because of the work they do.

The Vice President made the statement when as part of his visit to the Central region made a stopover at Kasoa to interact with the leadership of GPRTU drivers there.

Addressing the drivers Vice President Amissah -Arthur used the occasion to call on the drivers to do a fair assessment of the massive infrastructure development projects that has taken place under the NDC administration in the area and beyond.

He said apart from driving they are very good listeners, so see them as stakeholders in shaping the views of people and so they must lead to propagate the good works of President Mahama that they are witnesses to.

He said government would continue to add value to the road sector do that the can save money for spare parts and time.

He called on them to use their thumb as their power and go and vote for the NDC for continuity on more development.

He used the occasion to call them to shun those who come in the name of violence but rather go and vote peacefully.

The Vice president Kwesi Amissah-Arthur used the opportunity to introduce the NDC parliamentary candidate of the area Doctor Adams Nuhu for continuity in development of projects by the NDC.

Before his visit to the Kasoa station the Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur called on the 18 member Council of Tribal Chiefs to interact with them and introduced the NDC candidate to them
