YEN.com.gh understands that madam Patience Sarfo, the woman at the center of the police brutality case, has received a sum of GHC12,000 from some Ghanaians.
This is said to be a contribution by some compassionate individuals to support the woman, while more cash flow in for her.
According to YEN.com.gh sources, the woman has also been advised by the contributors to get a lawyer to sue Midland Savings and Loans Company under whose watch she was brutalized.
YEN.com.gh reported earlier on this very case of the policeman, Lance Corporal Frederick Godzi Amanor, who mercilessness beat up a woman in the banking hall of Midland Savings and Loans.
She had reportedly gone there to withdraw her ‘susu’ savings with the financial institution because she has heard that they were facing a possible liquidation.
According to reports, Midland failed to allow her withdraw her money, however, Madam Patience Sarfo insisted which led to the police man assaulting her.
The video went viral on Friday, July 20, 2018, with many people calling on the authorities to ensure that the ‘wicked’ police officer is brought to book.
The police have also allayed the fears of Ghanaians, assuring that Lance Corporal Amanor will be dealt with accordingly.
YEN.com.gh has also gathered that he is currently being processed for court.
