Popular investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, has disputed reports that he isn’t a human being, but a spirit.

In a report by Ghanacelebrities.com, Anas, who has over the years shed light on various issues of national interest through his undercover work, emphasized that he is a human being like everyone else.

His work, over the years, has exposed the activities of crime rings and issues of human right abuses in and outside Ghana.

His success in that respect has led some to believe he possesses spiritual powers.

His investigative works have won him worldwide acclaim, including Former United States President Barack Obama’s recognition of his efforts in a speech during a visit to Ghana in the year 2009.

The journalist has been effective as an undercover agent and has exposed numerous crime rings in the country.

In that respect, Ghanaians have already ascribed supernatural reasons as accounting for his success.

Some of his notable works include the Burger Story in the year 1999, which was his first.

He worked as a street hawker in a bid to expose police officers who took bribes from unlicensed traders on a major highway in Accra.

He followed it up with a secret trip on a shipping vessel of Afko Fisheries in the year 2003, in order to reveal the maltreatment of Ghanaian workers by a Korean employer.

According to him, for perpetrators he investigates to walk freely after his work is done hurts him the most. According to him, such people should end up behind bars.
