Asante Kotoko head coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum, has disclosed that his team has devised a potent attacking plan to overcome Berekum Chelsea this weekend.

The Kumasi-based club is scheduled to take on Chelsea on Sunday in a Week 4 encounter of the ongoing 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.

Speaking in a pre-match interview, Coach Ogum revealed that his team will set up to exploit the spaces behind Berekum Chelsea's defense on matchday.

He wants his team to convert the few chances that will be created on game day to come away with all three points.

“Attacking-wise, we need to explore spaces behind their defense, and when the few chances come our way, we must try as much as possible to convert them,” Coach Ogum said in an interview with the media team of Asante Kotoko.

Coach Ogum continued, “Psychologically, we need to stay very alert throughout the game. We have to be very focused. If we have the ball, we have to be very focused, and if we don’t have the ball, we must stay focused as well. We need to ensure that we are attentive throughout the game because any lack of focus can lead to us being punished.

“Tactically, too, I think that we need to be compact because they are going to go in aggressively. We must be very athletic as well and play safe at the back.”

The match between Berekum Chelsea and Asante Kotoko is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm at the Golden City Park.
