Aggrieved Menzgold customers have threatened that President Akufo-Addo will suffer an ill fate in the 2020 polls if he fails to get them their locked up monies.
“You see we are the same people who brought him to power. This ‘kokromoti’ power (referring to thumb used for voting) it is the same one that voted you in power and it is the same ‘krokromoti’ we will use to vote you out”, an outraged customer told MyNewsGh.com.
While MyNewsGh.com was speaking to some of the customers on phone they said they’re waiting for 2020 to make their choice as a result of their current predicament.
“We will not act again, 2020 is just around the corner. Nana Addo has two options either he get our money for us or we will vote him out”.
Not long ago a source told MyNewsGh.com that about 20 of Menzgold customers were arrested while in a bus on their way to submit a petition to the presidency.
The source added that another bus carrying some more customers parked at Kawukudi when they heard about the arrest of their colleagues.
An estimated 200 aggrieved customers were expected to embark on the march today but were denied permission by the Accra Regional Command of the Ghana Police Service after they sought permission for the march.
