Management of embattled gold trading firm, Menzgold has debunked reports suggesting that its Chief Executive Officer, Nana Appiah Mensah has been hit with a new suit while at Dubai.
The story indicated that Nana Appiah Mensah, popularly known as NAM1had signed an agreement with an unnamed Pakistani national to settle his indebtedness to him by instalment, but the civil court is yet to approve the alleged agreement.
It further rubbished reports of Mr Appiah’s victory of his case in which the court charged the Menzgold boss to be given $39 million in damages.
But in a statement signed by Menzgold’s Head of Communications, Nii Armah Armateifio, the report filed by ABC News was described as ‘completely false, unsubstantiated and without merit.
“Menzgold would like to inform the General Public, especially its cherished customers that these claims are completely false, unsubstantiated and without merit. We find this publication distasteful, and only people with malicious intent and hidden destructive agenda will subscribe to this counter-productive method.” Part of the statement read.
