My performance unparalleled – Mahama

President John Dramani Mahama President John Dramani Mahama

President John Mahama has rated the last four years of his administration as unparalleled in the history of Ghana, arguing that every corner of the country has had its fair share of development.

Speaking during a courtesy call on the Dorimon Naa at his palace in the Wa West constituency, Mahama admitted that there is, however, more to be done hence his appeal for another term.

“I’m your son. I was sent to do a job [and] I have come back to report to you that I have done that job satisfactorily for the people of Ghana. From the period that I was sworn in as president, we have done a lot of work to improve the lives of all people in all districts of the country,” Mahama said.

He added that: “there is a lot of work to be done here in Ghana; a lot of developmental projects to carry out—but if you look at what we have done within this four years then you can be sure that in the next four years we will do even more.”

Ghana under his leadership, has had massive electricity expansion, he pointed out and that the country is estimated to have more than 80 percent access to electric power.

“We have extended water to many communities across the country; we have taken Ghana from 58percent access to clean drinking water to 76 percent access to clean drinking water,” noted Mahama amidst applause.

According to him, the change that is being called for by the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) is happening already, thus the need to retain him.
