The Management of the National Service Scheme has appointed David Prah, the Eastern Regional Communications Director of the ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP) as the new Director of Public Affairs.
The affable and vociferous Eastern Regional Communications Director of NPP worked at both National Information Technology Agency (NITA)and Youth Employment Agency (YEA) the Director of Corporate Affairs Directorate prior to his appointment at NSS.
He is a graduate of University of Ghana with Master of Philosophy (M. Phil) in Adult Education where he majored in Programme Planning and Evaluation, Human Resource Development and Psychology. He had his Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of Education, Winneba.
He has taught at all levels of education in the country and has rich experience in Teacher Education with specialty in Psychology and Pedagogy.
He served as the Special Assistant to the former Deputy Minister of Defence Hon. W. O. Boafo, Akuapem North Municipal Youth Employment Coordinator and Akropong Constituency Communications Officer of the New Patriotic Party during the erstwhile Kufuor's regime.
David Prah also has lots of expertise in Technical and Vocational Education and Training with sound knowledge in Competency Based Training(CBT) Quality Assurance and worked with COTVET as the Quality Assurance Officer.
The firebrand Communicator has a great deal of experience in political Communications and has attended a number of national and international conferences in Cooperate Communications.
This was evident during his maiden interview with Osei Bonsu popularly known as OB the Host of Asempa fm's afternoon political show "Enkosii Sen" in his official capacity as the Spokeperson for NSS which he performed excellently by systematically explaining the new NSS online registration for the prospective national service personnel for 2018/2019 service year.
