The Asantehene was subsequently chauffeured from the airport to the Manhyia Palace, where he is expected to enjoy some rest and continue with his stewardship of Asanteman.
While in the UK, Otumfuo Osei Tutu met the King of the United Kingdom, King Charles III, at his residence on Tuesday, July 23, 2024.
In a post on social media, the Royal Family announced Asantehene’s visit to Sandringham House, built over a century ago.

The Asantehene also delivered a lecture at the inaugural Black Heritage Network Symposium, hosted by Citibank UK.
The event, which was themed “Celebrating Asante Legacy, Excellence and Partnerships,” presented the Asantehene with the opportunity to correct some distortions in the Asante-British history.
