The chief of Kumbungu Naa Alhaji Abu Iddrisu has endorsed the governing National Democratic Congress describing it as the party with the best policies for the country with barely a month to the general elections.

Naa Alhaji Abu Iddrisu made the claim when vice president Kwesi Amissah-Arthur paid a courtesy call on him during his campaign tour of the Northern region on Tuesday.

He said it was only proper John Dramani Mahama was given another four-year mandate taking into consideration the 'existing practice' for other presidents in the country.
