Former President and Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, was captured on video dancing the Gonja damba dance during his tour of the Northern Region.
In a video shared by his spokesperson, Joyce Bawah Mogtari, and captioned “Enjoy the elegant Gonja Damba dance moves by JM on a visit to the Royal Palace of our Elder Brother the venerable Kpembewura!” Mahama is seen holding cow tails.
He was slowly ushered towards the chief, Kpembewura Banbange (IV), while dancing.
Later, Mahama was given a white cow tail to enhance his dance moves.
He could be seen making hand gestures to his left and right, as the chief watched with enthusiasm.
