Who is keeping Nyantakyi’s $100K bribe for Anas?

You have to read this carefully: Embattled Ghana Football Association President Kwesi Nyantakyi has said Anas made a demand of $150,000 dollars from him in order to prevent the GFA exposé from being screened.

MyNewsGh.com can confirm that this is indeed true, coming from Mr Kwesi Nyantakyi, but, the details are that the person who met Kwesi Nyantakyi to make that offer was not sent by Anas Armeyaw Anas Tiger Eye PI.

Details are now emerging about how the private legal practitioner placed himself as a middleman between embattled Ghana Football Association President Osman Kwesi Nyantakyi and Anas Armeyaw Anas to collect Nyantakyi’s $100,000 dollars to bribe ANAS but kept the money letting Kwesi Nyantakyi believe all the while that the $100,000 dollars has been given to Anas who despite “receiving” the money still went ahead to screen the Number 12 exposé.

MyNewsGH.com had this information as far back as last week, and before going to press as the ethics of the profession required, we gave the said lawyer (name withheld) the chance to respond to the issues but for a week, he failed to respond to numerous messages, both texts, and whatsapps and calls about the issue.

One of the text we sent, to let him know what we know so far read:

“Good morning. I am Stephen Zoure Content Manager of MyNewsGh.com. Are you keeping $100,000 you took from Nyantakyi meant for Anas Aremeyaw Anas?”, even this failed to get him to respond.

MyNewsGH.com reaching out to him is not for him to provide us proof, but for him to have his reply placed side-by side-with the facts we have about his “fraud” to the tune of $100,000 cash taken in the name of Anas Armeyaw Anas without Anas or any of his team members privy to this.

Ironically, it is gathered the lawyer is one of those the Assin Central MP Honourable Kennedy Agyapong has hired to defend him in court against Anas Armeyaw Anas’ defamation suit.

Kennedy Agyapong has himself accused Anas Armeyaw Anas of attempting to extort and actually extorting money from Kwesi Nyantakyi over the video exposé.

Ken Agyapong had ‘revealed’ that Anas went ahead to show the Number 12 exposé because Nyantakyi informed too many people about the $100k bribe he paid.

MyNewsGH.com’s trusted checks can confirm, that indeed Anas did not request directly by himself or through any third party that Mr Kwes Nyantakyi paid any amount of money to have the video premier called off.

We can only guess that Nyantakyi’s understandable frustrations were exploited by the said lawyer to make him part with $100k.

Nyantakyi confirms paying $100K

Lawyer Martin Luther Obeng, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) for embattled former Ghana Football Association (GFA) President confirmed that indeed his boss, Kwesi Nyantakyi, made a payment of $100, 000 out of the $150, 000 demanded by “Anas Aremeyaw Anas” (now exposed as Kwame Gyan) so he will drop the Number 12 video against him.

The PRO revealed that Mr Nyantakyi managed to arrange the amount but “Anas” refused to drop the video because the embattled GFA boss had informed others about it.

Mr Nyantakyi’s PRO said the lawyer for Anas who he failed to provide the name, confirmed to Kennedy Agyapong, the Assin Central MP that, he [Anas] demanded the money and had received $100,000.

When he was pushed to give the name he declined saying, ‘’at the right time. We will provide the media with the details about the name of the lawyer.

The only lawyer in the whole scenario who independently, without any relationship with Anas tabled a demand to Nyantakyi for $150k.

As at the time of MyNewsGH.com going to Press, the said lawyer is still sitting on the $100k dollars from Nyantakyi meant for Anas.
