  The debate is unnecessary and will not make us more export oriented in our production drive to rake in more foreign exchange for the country, which is what we need.

  Dr Oduro, with all due respect, I beg to differ. The comparison is very necessary. What NAPO should have done is to list all the achievements of Mr Akufo-Addo against those of Dr Kwame Nkrumah.
  I’m 81 years old and have seen with my youthful eyes some of the good things Nkrumah did for Ghana which included the building of secondary schools: a few of which were Wenchi, Sunyani, Yaa Asantewaa, Amaniampog, Accra Girls, La Bonne, Tema, Ghana National .Kwame Nkrumah also built Tema Township and harbor as well as Akosombo Township and Dam. His other achievements, though not exhaustive, included the building of Universities, and factories such as Kade match factory, Asutsuare and Komenda sugar factories, Bonsa tire factory; not to mention the establishment of Ghana Airways, Black Star Line and many more.
  Now I am old and my sight is failing so cannot see Akufo-Addo’s achievements. Will NAPO please do me a favor by providing a comparable list of achievements by the President he believes is the hardest working. Thanks.
