Fourteen (14) out of the Seventy-Five (75) referees who were captured in undercover investigations by Anas Aremeyaw Anas to compromise the outcome of football matches have been cleared of any wrongdoing.
The rest according to investigations conducted by the Referees Association of Ghana have been banned 10-years each whilst 8 have been banned for life.
Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Curtis Perry Kwabla Okudzeto who confirmed the decision of the investigations of RAG on his Facebook page said “The Referees Association of Ghana (RAG) has concluded investigations on their (75) members captured in the Anas #Number12 Expose. 14 of them have been cleared of any wrongdoing. 51 of them have been banned for 10 years each whilst 8 have been banned for life. On track to get back the passion and sanctity of the game”
