Ghana Premier League side Obuasi AshGold SC are in advance talks with former Asante Kotoko striker, Ahmed Simba Toure on a possible move to Obuasi.
Ahmed Simba Toure, 30, held talks with the President of the club, Dr Kwaku Frimpong, 442gh.com can confirm, for a likely switch to the Ghana Premier League.
A close source to Ahmed Toure tells 442gh.com that, the player has availed himself to Ashanti Gold and ready to wear the Yellow and Black shirts.
Dr Frimpong who has been a dire admirer of the Burkinabe could lure Ahmed Toure to join the “Aboakese” side should competitive football starts in Ghana.
Ahmed Toure last played for Bechem United before moving to Asec Mimosa in Ivory Coast.
Ashanti Gold alreadt have three known strikers in Daniel Gozar, Shafiu Mumuni and Saddick Adams in their folds.
