Ghana Captain Asamoagh Gyan has revealed his wildest dream is to become a pilot after he retires from football. This revelation comes weeks after he was granted a license to a operate an airline business in the country.
The Business Mogul has several business establishments in the country and was given the license to operate the Baby Jet airlines few months ago.
Following the giant strides taken by the Captain of the Black Stars, he says he would love to learn how to pilot after hanging his boots.
“I will learn to become a pilot,” he says. “Hopefully it will become a part time job,” Gyan told CNN.
“I have learned a lot throughout my career,” he says. “Leadership, determination, commitment, perseverance and mental toughness will come into play.
“I conducted research with my team and we identified business opportunities,” he says. “The airline idea started from 2012 but I waited for the right time and I believe Ghana’s economy is now expanding in many areas (including) the aviation industry.”
The former Sunderland striker recently outdoored his sachet water business in a minute advert in which he appeared drinking the product called Paradise Pac.
He was named ambassador to a new energy drink by a Ghanaian Company where his image appears on the can of the drink called Run.
Gyan owns a boxing promotions company named the Baby Jets Promotions which has one of Ghana's finest Boxers on Emmanuel "Game Boy" Togoe.
