Nana Odofoley has disclosed that she at no point felt the urge to react to some of the allegations and vile criticisms which were made against her during her time as a member of the Normalization Committee.
The lawyer with 15 years of experience said that her profession has conditioned her to tolerate opposing views irrespective of the harshness.
Odofoley, who was attacked verbally on multiple occasions for various alleged acts, said on GhanaWeb’s Sports Check program though some of the criticisms were preposterous and harsh, she never contemplated replying any of them.
She said that aside her experience as a lawyer, her status as a member of the committee required of her to show some level of maturity and tolerance.
“I have had to learn to be very tolerant because of the work I do. I am mainly a litigation person and you know that as a litigation, every view you take, the other side takes an opposing view. So for me, criticizing me or disagreeing with me is not something that borders me because in the job in which I am, it is the normal daily occurrence.
“And I don’t think I have ever been tempted to call into a radio station and speak to speak back. Of course but for the position if any of those people had even try engaging me one-on-one we would have we settled it the Ga way and go our separate ways but you have to also look at the position you are and comport yourself”, she said.
Meanwhile, Naa Odofoley has called on the football fraternity to exercise patient with new GFA boss Kurt Okraku and his Executives.
“Be Patients with the President and his Executives. Give them about three month as honeymoon period and stop lambasting them, it is not good. I’m confident they will deliver, she said” .
