- (GFA)- Baffour Gyan is fully fit. He has participated fully in training sessions has not had any special training sessions.
- Asamoah Gyan is used intermittently. he suffered from a slight ankle sprain but it’s quite minor. He will be fit before 20th January
- Laryea Kingston has started full scale training and declared himself ready for the African Cup of Nations. A positive news though, but Dr. Engmann says he wouldn’t be rushed into his programme.
Thursday 10 January
- Black Stars will play against local side, Al-Shabbab on Saturday in a test game. The match comes up after a similar game arranged on Thursday with Al-Nasr was called by the club side.
- (JoyOnline) Andre Ayew accused colleague Laryea Kingston of ill intentions from what appeared a dangerous tackle. His immediate remedy was to punch his way to safety, a recourse that readily met Laryea’s resistance until other colleagues quelled the feud and promptings for calm and sportsmanship.
- Quincy Owusu-Abeyie, nationality switch from Dutch to Ghanaian has been approved. FIFA?s decision on Thursday morning means that the Celta Vigo striker who applied to switch allegiance to enable him play for Ghana would be available for selection by Ghana
