The Pharaohs are in Ghana searching for victory over the Black Stars in the first-leg in Kumasi. Having arrived in Accra, they will quickly move to the game venue.
The Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi will host the game.
Egypt must eliminate 2010 quarter-finalist Ghana to make it to the World Cup for the first time in over 20 years after the countries were drawn to face each other in Africa's decisive playoffs.
The Egyptians are yet to drop points in the qualification campaign, having beaten Mozambique, Guinea and Zimbabwe in the group encounters.
The play-off against Ghana will be their toughest test yet in the qualification campaign for Brazil.
