English League One side Crawley Town have announced the signing of Black Stars goalkeeper Jojo Wollacott on a permanent transfer from Scottish Premiership club Hibernian.

Wollacott, 27, has signed a two-year contract with Crawley Town and is looking forward to this new chapter in his career.

Last season, injuries limited Wollacott to just nine appearances for Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership, where he started five matches and kept one clean sheet.

Wollacott brings a wealth of experience from his early career at Bristol City, where he spent eight years and had multiple loan spells at clubs such as Clevedon Town, Weymouth, Bath City, Woking, Truro City, Gloucester City, and Norway’s Bergsøy.

He made his professional debut with Forest Green Rovers, where he notably saved a penalty in a 0-0 draw against Charlton Athletic.

After a loan spell at Swindon Town, Wollacott signed a one-year contract with the Robins, reuniting with current Crawley Town manager Scott Lindsey. Wollacott speaks highly of Lindsey, recalling their positive time together at Swindon.

Wollacott then moved to Charlton Athletic under former Swindon manager Ben Garner, making 20 appearances before transferring to Hibernian.
