Ghanaian midfielder Kwame Bonsu has expressed delight in the 'great experience' picked from playing in the FIFA Club World Cup with Esperance de Tunis.
The former Asante Kotoko midfield dynamo starred for the African champions as they finished fifth at the competition in Qatar.
"I thank God for bringing us back to Tunisia safely," he posted on the team's arrival to Tunis. "It was really a great experience in the Club World Cup," he added.
He went on to thank the fans, who made the trip to the Asian country to support the club and the 24-year old has quickly shifted his attention to the upcoming games.
"Also thanks to our amazing fans for the support always. Now it’s time to focus on our coming games," he tweeted.
Esperance lost their first game at the competition to Al Hilal before thrashing Al Sadd 6-2 in the fifth place play offs.
The Red and Golds return to compete in the Tunisian top flight league and are also in the group stages of the CAF Champions League.
