President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okraku has called on clubs and other stakeholders to remain calm as the country’s football governing body works out a way forward for Ghana Football.

The CoronaVirus pandemic has nearly decimated the Ghana football sector with all activities grinding to a halt since March 2020.

However there is a major decision to make as regards what happens to the suspended 2019-20 Ghana Football season.

Amid the growing calls for the truncating of the league irrespective of the dire consequences it will leave clubs and other stakeholders in, the GFA boss is calling for calm as they work out the best way forward for Ghana Football.

According to him, the FA will eventually take a decision that serves the collective interest of all football stakeholders.

“I want to call for calm, we shall take a decision in the interests of everybody. We will communicate our decision if we decide to either cancel or truncate the season”, he told Happy FM in an interview.

The Ghana FA is set to decide on the fate of the 2019-20 season before June 30.
