A Ghanaian family living abroad has gone viral following their two minutes video on iconic moments that happened at different World Cup tournaments.

The video which has since amassed 3 million views on social media captures the painful experiences where Luiz Suarez denied Ghana a winning goal at the 2010 World Cup.

Ghana was on the verge of becoming the first African country to make it to the semi-finals of the World Cup when the Uruguayan International pummeled the ball out on the goal line with his hand.

The whole African continent was in ecstasy when Ghana was awarded a penalty in the dying minutes of the game only for striker Asamoah Gyan to miss the kick.

Almost 10-years after the event, the comic video has attempted to recreate the incident and also take away the pain of that sad Friday night in South Africa.

The video is made up five actors including a young boy with a bald head acting as Zinedine Zidane when he gave Materazzi a head-butt at the 2006 World Cup final held in Germany.

Other moments captured include Van Persie’s iconic diving header against Spain, Ronaldo’s free-kick against Spain including Rooney’s tackle on the Portuguese International.

Among the number of football stars who commended the family for their work was Van Persie who tweeted, “This is incredible viewing! The Zidane bald patch had me in stitches rolling on the floor. Great work guys.”

Asamoah Gyan who claims he still has nightmares of the 2010 World Cup incident was full of praise to the team tweeting, “Wooow. Creativity at its best.”
