Former Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kwesi Nyantakyi has disclosed he received an amount of $40,000 from Anas Aremeyaw Anas not $65,000 in the investigative documentary.
A documentary by ace journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas exposed Mr. Nyantakyi to be unfit to steer the affairs of a sport which is the number one of the nation.
Mr Nyantakyi was filmed apparently accepting a "cash gift", which is against Fifa's code of ethics.
In the video, he was seen taking an amount of money from an undercover Tiger Eye Pi reporter pretending to be a businessman.
Speaking to Oman FM in Accra, the embattled FA boss denied he received an amount of $65,000 from Anas rather he was given $40,000.
"I am confirming to you that, I received an amount of $40,000 and not $65,000 claimed by Anas Aremeyaw Anas if he insists let him bring out the denominations", he said.
The 48-year-old quit his roles as a member of the FIFA Council, member of the FIFA Associations Committee, First Vice President of CAF and President of Zone B of the West African Football Union (WAFU) after the airing of the video.
