Former Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Vincent Oppong Asamoah has advised GFA President Kurt E.S Okraku to stay focus on his job by ignoring critics.

Kurt who took office from the Normalization Committee barely six months ago has come under severe scrutiny by some football administrators particularly, Kofi Manu, affectionately called 'Blue Boy'.

Kofi Manu who was the Chairman for the Player Status Committee under Kwesi Nyantakyi's administration has been on the neck of Kurt these past weeks and has even proposed an impeachment against the GFA capo.

However, according to the former Deputy Minister, Kwesi Nyantakyi's loyalists are bent on painting his administration black so he shouldn't lose focus on the job.

Speaking to the Accra based Angel FM, he threw his weight behind the Kurt Okraku led GFA administration to succeed.

“I am very optimistic that Kurt Okraku and his administration will succeed. He should be careful of Kwesi Nyantakyi’s loyalists because they’ll do everything to pull his administration down."

“Kwesi Nyantakyi’s downfall was caused by some Executive Council members of the Ghana FA and his praise singers. Most of the issues we had with Kwesi Nyantakyi were about the Black Stars budget reduction.

“One of his [Nyantakyi] boys nearly launch a physical assault on me at the Netherlands Embassy in Accra,” he revealed.
