Legal Practitioner, Amanda Clinton, who was a presidential candidate in the last GFA elections believes it will be misplaced for anyone to judge Kurt Okraku’s administration after only seven months in office.
The GFA president who has been in office for a little over seven months has faced the wrath of some critics who argue that Kurt Okraku’s administration is yet live up to expectations.
However, Amanda Clinton who was the only female presidential candidate in the GFA elections says it will be improper for anyone to pass judgement on the first seven months of Kur’s administration.
“Six months is too short a time to give a definite view. You don’t give them any leeway or a bit of rope to either hang themselves or prove what their style is,” the legal practitioner said as monitored by Ghanaweb.
The legal practitioner, however, jumped to the defence of the GFA president for bringing in his own people to work with. She explained, such tactics is important to avoid being blackmailed by opponents.
Amanda Clinton who spoke to Joy Sports said, “It’s becoming a little in-secret to a certain extent whereby people criticize Kurt a lot because he brought a lot of his own people in and then from another standpoint looking at it if he thought that everything that he did was going to be leaked, criticized and he not in control then he had to take control by bringing in people he can trust”.
She added, “You have to take control first by bringing in the people you trust. The delegates are very quick to criticize, I don’t expect anyone to criticize him positively in Ghana football.”
