Chairman of the Parliamentary Select Committee on Sports, Honourable Alex Agyekum has cautioned the public to desist tag members of the Executuve Council and even the Ghana Football Association president.
He says the politicization of every facet of our life is causing more harm than good to us and we should desist from taking the ndc/NPP polarization to the new GFA.
The legislator has cautioned the general public especially Sports journalist and all persons who talk,write about football to desist from attaching any political colorization to any of the new GFA members as it will not auger well for our football.
The MP for Mpohor Constituency in the Western region has called on Sports journalist/presenters to for once see the job of the new GFA as a national service and stop playing party politics with our football.
"Right now we have started sewing NDC/NPP colours for the new GFA including the president, his vice and his executive council members" he told Kuamsi based Akoma Fm."
"No one is at the GFA to do party politics so I will urge all sports journalist,pundits to desist so stoking political flames as it will not auger well for our football"
"For once we should see the work of the new GFA as a national service and set aside the party tagging" he pleaded.
