Newmont Ghana limited and GHAPOHA led a series of corporate bodies in their support for Team Ghana at All Africa Games.
The two institutions each donated GHS100,000 to ease the financial difficulties currently hampering Ghana’s preparation for the 2015 African multi-faceted sports gathering in Congo Brazzaville.
The donation was made at a short ceremony organised at the conference hall of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Glico insurance company also donated an amount of Ghs10,000 and an insurance package worth 3.6 million Ghana Cedis for the duration of the tournament.

The deputy sports minister thanked the donors on behalf of the sports minister for their philanthropic gesture towards the development of sports in the nation.
The departed Ghanaian contingent was each given 500 dollars before emplaning for Congo Brazzaville.
