Controversial Musician, Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A Plus has urged hotel owners to take extra safety measures to protect their clients following the death of Kwabena Boadu, special aide to Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

Kwabena Boadu was found dead Thursday morning in his hotel room in Wa in the Upper West Region where the entire NPP leadership addressed a regional rally on Wednesday.

Multiple sources claim he was electrocuted.

While urging hoteliers to be conscious of the wellbeing of their clients, A Plus stressed that Boadu’s sudden demise should be a source of concern to hoteliers in the country.

The musician recounted a similar situation he experienced three years back, during his visit to Tamale with other media personnel.

According to him, the shower in the bath in his room was faulty and gave him shocks in an attempt to use it.

“Three years ago, we went to Tamale during the audition for Ghana’s Strongest show, it was myself and some other media personnel from TV3. The shower in the room I lodged was giving me shocks whenever I tried using it, the next day, one of the rooms we were lodging in caught fire and it was a scary spectacle”.

A Plus emphasized that Kwabena Boadu’s death should serve as a wake-up call to the hospitality industry and urged that they take stringent measures to protect their clients.
