Prominent Ghanaian actress and media personality, Nana Ama McBrown was spotted at the Manhyia Palace as the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, hosted an Akwasidae in honor of his 25th anniversary on the throne.
McBrown was not the only actress sighted; her colleague, Oheneyere Mercy Asiedu, was also present to grace the occasion.
In a video shared by TV3 on their X page, McBrown looked elegant, clad in her beautifully woven traditional kente attire.
Mercy Asiedu also appeared in her two-piece cloth, locally known as "Kaba and slit," while holding her purse.
The audience was delighted at the sight of McBrown, who kept saying "thank you" as the crowd cheered her on while she walked to take her seat.
The event took place on May 12, 2024, at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.
Some prominent personalities who attended the occasion included former President John Agyekum Kufuor; Chief of Staff Frema Akosua Opare; Second Lady Samira Bawumia; former First Lady Konadu Agyemang-Rawlings; NDC National Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, among others.
The event also featured the display of the prestigious golden stool of the Ashanti Kingdom.
