Yvonne Nelson, Prince David Osei and Nana Ama McBrown were among other entertainment personalities who were at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) on Wednesday to watch the latest investigative piece by Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
There were some 60 showbiz personalities who, NEWS-ONE gathered, received invitations to be part of the premiere ceremony on Wednesday.
Shirley Frimpong-Manso, an award-winning movie director, and Ken Attoh were also spotted at the venue.
A large number of Ghanaians, including sports and political enthusiasts, defied Wednesday’s rains in Accra to watch the much-talked-about video premiere of Anas’ investigative work.
Titled ‘When Greed & Corruption Become The Norm’, the documentary which has come to be known as ‘Number 12’ brought to light what has been touted as the “ rot in Ghana football.”
Some 14 officials of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), including GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi, are among those captured receiving alleged bribes from Tiger Eye agents. People who watched the video expressed diverse opinions. Some of them were outraged by what they saw in the documentary and complained bitterly, while others also had issues with the methodology used to come by the investigative piece.
The celebrities who watched the video are yet to make public their views on what they saw.
