The Chief of Staff Mr. Julius Debrah has appealed to the constituents of Nadowli-Kaleo to retain Alban Bagbin as their Member of Parliament since a change will amount to political suicide.
He said the Majority Leader has acquired enough experience besides being a hard working person to champion the wellbeing of the constituency in the House.
Speaking at the launch of the 2016 campaign of the veteran lawmaker, Mr. Debrah noted the majority leader has been an exceptional politician who had used his experience and expertise to defend the cause of the party as well as helped in shaping policies that have transformed lives in all spheres
He urged the constituents to keep faith in their MP and retain him to accelerate his developmental agenda in Nadowli-Kaleo and by extension the Upper West region.
Bagbin is being contested by the chairman of the People’s National Convention (PNC) Bernard Mornah and Elvis Botha of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
“I have known Alban for some time now, and I can assure you that he means well for the people of Nadowli-Kaleo,” Mr. Debrah opined.
He hinted that more development will be pushed to the constituency due to his sterling performance both in politics and as a lawyer.
“We would support your MP Alban Bagbin in President Mahama's second term with more development in your area.
“Don't be deceived by his detractors, Alban Sumana Babgin stands by you and he won't let you down,” Mr. Debrah emphasised.
The 2016 general election is taking place on December 7.
