The running mate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, asserts that John Mahama is the right person to lead the country at this critical moment.

Addressing NDC supporters at Twifo Praso during her campaign tour of the Central Region, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang stated that the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia government has plunged the country into an economic quagmire with no hope in sight.

She emphasized that Ghana cannot continue on such a downward spiral, making it imperative to elect the right leader to guide the country out of its current difficulties.

Prof. Opoku-Agyemang highlighted that Mahama, having previously served the nation, is the right person with the necessary experience to rescue Ghana from the present economic hardship.

She pointed out that Mahama has the people of Ghana at heart, which is why he is proposing policies such as the 24-Hour Economy, Women’s Development Bank, National Apprenticeship Programme, and the Big Push, among others.

“Mr. Mahama has a good heart, and he respects all Ghanaians, especially women. He has done it before and will do even more to support Ghanaians when elected,” she said.

Prof. Opoku-Agyemang therefore appealed to the electorate to vote massively for the NDC in the upcoming December 7 general election.
