The Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Richard Ahiagbah, has called on his fellow natives of the Volta region to vote against the National Democratic Congress (NDC) during the general elections on December 7, 2024.

According to him, the Volta Region must vote to free itself from the three-decade-long alliance with the NDC, which has not benefited our region. 

The Volta Region is the NDC's stronghold of the NDC, while Ashanti Region is the stronghold of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). 

In a post on social media platform, X, Richard Ahiagbah, urged the electorate in Volta Region to teach the NDC a lesson on election day for taking the party for granted for far too long.

"But while the NDC has taken the Volta Region for granted, the NPP has shown appreciation and respect for its stronghold, the Ashanti Region. Therefore, on December 7th, let's vote against the NDC to liberate our region from this unproductive relationship. Let’s vote for the NPP's Dr. Bawumia and the parliamentary candidates. Or consider any other candidate and party outside the NDC." Ahigbah stated.
