The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, visited the Ga Mantse’s palace in Accra, on August 12, 2024, to wish the Ga Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, and the Ga people well as they celebrate the Homowo Festival.

The Ga Mantse, after listening to the vice president, delivered a powerful prayer for him, wishing him well in his presidential campaign.

The king pointed out that all persons who do things with good hearts are blessed.

“May all go well during your campaign. Naaye Wulomoi are not here, but they hear me as I speak. May Naaye bless you. May Sakomu bless you and may Naa Korle bless you.

“As you walk on this land, may you be blessed. May everybody you speak to listen to you. Do what you say. There is nothing in this world that you would be told to throw away when you are doing it with a good heart,” he prayed in Ga in a video sighted by GhanaWeb on his Facebook page.

He added, “May you be blessed in all you do if you are doing it with a good heart. You are blessed in all you do… may more opportunities open for you.”

Nii Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, after his prayers for the vice president, asked him to help them do something about the Salaga market.

He said that his people have been complaining to him about the state of the market, which provides livelihood for over 400 traders.

“But there is one thing I would like you to do for me. My people are complaining about the Salaga Market. I’m leaving it in your hands. If you are able to do something about it, it would be good for the Ga people.”
