The problems between founder and leader of the Glorious Word Ministry International, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah and Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi, head of the Glorious Wave Ministry is not ending anytime soon.

Rev. Owusu Bempah has decided to end whatever relationship he had with Prophet Badu Kobi and withdrawn himself as his spiritual father.

There has been a growing animosity between the two men of God, with Rev. Owusu Bempah threatening to collapse the his spiritual son's church over what reports suggested were attempts by Prophet Badu Kobi to defame him.

Though Prophet Badu Kobi came out to deny any such moves from him and expressed his profound gratitude to Rev Owusu Bempah for mentoring him, it has not been enough to repair their relationship.

Addressing journalists, Rev. Owusu Bempah announced that he has finally decided to disown Prophet Badu Kobi as a 'son' because he [Kobi] had refused to heed to counsel.

“Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi who prophesied during the campaign season that a certain party would win the elections and also added that a particular candidate cannot be President of Ghana, is no longer my spiritual son. This is because he doesn’t heed to my counsel and has joined a certain company of individuals that I’m not comfortable with against my wishes," he declared.

Justifying his surprising decision, he cited examples of religious leaders disowning their spiritual sons saying he was not the first to take such a stance. He further pointed out that his decision to disown Prophet Kobi had nothing to do with his political affiliation or political figures the latter has befriended.
