I am most impressed by this reform of allowing inmates to work in agriculture and have their sentences reduced. The question still keeps coming. Why is Africa poor in spite of all the resources the continent is endowed with. Dr Kwame Nkrumah believed in the unity of Africa. Africa has a very large market but strangely, we prefer to do business with the former colonialists who continue to plunder our resources to the detriment of transforming this vast land of resources and away from poverty. Its time to team up with our northern sahelian neighbours to forge the way forward. Let's trade among ourselves. Let us be part of BRICS and depart from these neo-colonialists.
